At D Moodie and Co, we have been helping people to say goodbye to loved ones for three generations. We believe a funeral should be tailored to each individual's needs. We can arrange a direct cremation service and the family can collect the ashes from us or have them scattered at the crematorium.

When it comes to a funeral and saying goodbye to a loved one, everyone should be able to have the ceremony of their choice. This can include a service which does not involve some of the traditional aspects of a funeral.
D Moodie and Co are able to arrange a direct cremation when requested.
This is a small, respectful service that doesn't include a minister, pallbearers, processions or traditional ceremony.
Direct cremation services include:
- Booking with the crematorium
- Cremation documentation completed
- Support, guidance and advice
- Bringing the deceased into our care during office hours
- Considerate and respectful care of the deceased
- Coffin suitable for cremation
- Collection of ashes
- Fee for an unattended cremation
(at a date and location of our choosing)
* Full payment is required prior to the funeral.
